Logline: There is a crowd of humans chasing me behind.
At a peaceful night. A man was fishing for something by the river. After a while he caught a fish from the pond and put ate the fish. This was all captured by a paparazzi and it made the headlines the next day. The picture went viral and attracted people from around the city. The next day reporters started to gather outside of his workplace to interview him. The man's answer turned the practice of "eating fish" into a trend. Then people ran to the river to follow suit. A few days later, the man go out again. What will he do this time?

Director Biography - Fei Wang

Fei Wang is a director now based in Sydney, She was born in Chengdu, China, she has completed the Bachelor of Media Arts and Production at the University of Technology, Sydney. She is currently studying for the Master of Moving Image at the University of Sydney. Her goal is to show the beauty and diversity of humans in her work.

Jingwen Li is a producer, director, illustrator from China and now based in Sydney. She is with industry knowledge and skills to create artworks. Jingwen is an open-minded and creative worker with an inspirational and creative nature. She has extensive knowledge of film and animation, and computer and design skills.
Her works have been showcased in various public places in Australia. for instance UTS Great Hall, Sydney Microlit Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Vivid Sydney 2017. etc
She has received the Bachelor degree of Design in Animation at UTS and currently studies at Master of Moving Image at USYD. She worked as Lighting assistant in Cathay Playhouse (2019), intern at Hunan Broadcast Film& TV Group(2017) and volunteer at Sydney Film Festival (2016).
Jingwen is interested in Musical film, and she is passionate about tap dance, golden age of Hollywood, theatre and music. And she is eager to continue exploring these themes within the industry.

Director Statement

(Producer)Jingwen Li was born in 1996 in Changsha, China.She wanted to make movies since high school, she has watched 1800 films and has written 20 scripts in Mandarin and English. These films have been life–changing as they accompany her through day and night, through happiness and sadness. There are always several particular films that have had a great influence on her at each stage of her life. Watching and studying film has become my long-term interest as films have changed the way she talks, behaves and perceives things in life.
She likes musicals, as well as movies about health care and elders, although she hasn't made any films about these themes so far. She has some scripts on these subjects and would love to film them in the future. During the study in Master of Moving Image at the University of Sydney, She has made drama, crime, animation, and experimental short films and has been a producer on four films and a director and writer on one. Jingwen is currently working on a project as director and screenwriter for a sci-fi musical film, is a feature film about the single-gender world. Jingwen is sure she won’t stop her study and passion for film, as it is a lifetime journey where I will make the most of my efforts in.
