Beneath is a psychological retelling of the classic story of Orpheus and Eurydice. After an affair, Angie pleads for her husband, Justin, to return. When Justin turns up in a coma Angie is driven by her guilt to discover the cause of his illness, save her husband and redeem herself.

Director Biography - Christopher Fernandez

Christopher Fernandez is a painter turned filmmaker whose short films have screened at festivals around the country and internationally.
Chris earned his production knowledge in the trenches of the film industry; he began his career by sweeping the floors at a local rental facility, worked his way onto set as an IATSE Grip and Electrician. Eventually Chris decided to continue his artistic growth at Chapman University and was a scholarship recipient to the David Lynch Film School at Maharishi University of Management.
