Infected Abroad 2019
This is a short documentary based on Covid 19 survivor story. A young man who lives in New York City, leaving his family members thousand of miles away suffers from Covid 19 amid the horrific first wave during March, 2020. It is the autobiography of a young covid 19 survivor who was away from his family. It is made to exhibit the relationship between the family members, especially when one suffers from severe illness abroad and away from his family.
This is a story of a family's struggle for survival and emotion when the principal member of the family is seriously affected with Covid 19 and is stranded alone, being thousands of miles away from home. It shows how a family of four copes with the emotions and difficulties when the primary bread earner is seriously ill and fighting for his life. The importance of togetherness and emotional support during difficult times is clearly felt in the plot.
The fear, love, sympathy, and encouragement seen in the wife and children after seeing that the primarily responsible parent, who has been affected by the pandemic has been framed clearly. The pain and fears of adolescence are presented when they know that their father was severely affected by Covid 19. It also depicts how important one's family is to share the happiness and sorrow in life.
