Quarterly film showcase of short films and/or feature films followed by Q&A with filmmakers and dinner.

Hosted at Dave & Busters Function Rooms, you will be entertained by films while having your dinner on location.

Each quarter we will showcase films on different themes.

This is a chance for you to network with other filmmakers, and let the audience know more about you and your work and other films you made or are planning to make.

Laurel - Official Selection

1- Films made in the US ONLY at this time.
2- Filmmaker or a representative of the film MUST be available to attend the showcase and participate in the Q&A.
a) Films without a filmmaker representative on the day of the showcase will be removed from the program.
3- Films of any length, genre, theme are welcome however our program will showcase films especially according to the criteria below:

Women in Films (Director or Producer must be a woman, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to a woman's daily life and struggles)

Latinx in Films (Director or Producer must be a member of the Latino community, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to the latinx lifestyle and struggles in the US)

Disability in Films (Director or Producer must be considered as disabled, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to a disable community, lifestyle, and their struggles in the US)

Apr- Golden Age in Films ((Director or Producer must be of 40 years or older, there are many youth and student only film festivals, but not many for those who are changing career or have been a struggling filmmaker passing the "acceptable age" to get their feet on the door. So this is for these new-old creative minds)

African-American in Films (Director or Producer must be considered as a member of the black community, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to an african-american community, lifestyle, and their struggles in the US)

LGBTQIA Films (Director or Producer must be considered as a member of the LGBTQIA, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to an LGBTQIA community, lifestyle, and their struggles in the US)

Asian in Films (Director or Producer must be considered as a member of the Asian community, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to an Asian community, lifestyle, and their struggles in the US)

Indigenous/Native Americans in Films (Director or Producer must be considered as a Native American, or the film must be of any theme pertaining to an Indigenous community, lifestyle, and their struggles in the US)

Brazilians in the US (Director or Producer must be Brazilian living the US, making films with American crew and cast, providing new work and boosting the American film industry and economy)

A Night of Documentaries (Any documentary of themes pertaining to minorities of any length)

A Better World (Any film of any length with a theme that encourages humanity, civilization and a better world for all human beings)

Religion in Films (Movies of religious theme and subjects. It may be any religion, from Christian to Muslim, Jewish, to Buddhist, etc)

RULES FOR SUBMISSION
In addition to the eligibility requirements listed above, filmmakers must comply with the following submission rules:

- The submitting filmmaker must be either the producer or director of the film and have all rights and copyrights to their films. By Submitting to the festival, filmmakers thereby grant KMB Entertainment/Belas Arts Inc the right to screen their film.

- Multiple submissions must be provided as individual submissions.

  • Was very honored to have TELLTALE SIGNS as a part of this fest. I wasn't able to attend, but communication was great ... and their online presence did a great deal for marketing the fest. They want films, but they also want an audience for their films. Their marketing efforts are appreciated.
