Incurable me

This documentary uncovers the horrors of so-called "conversion therapy" in Post-Soviet countries, including "therapeutic" trips to Iran, psychiatric hospitals, Orthodox monasteries, Caucasian prisons, and exorcisms. I have documented survivors who have shared their stories of torture and strength to overcome it.
Unfortunately, recently the theme of the film has become even more relevant. Russia's recent law prohibiting "Gay propaganda", gender transition and creation of a psychiatric institute for LGBTQ+ persons – directly paves the way for enforced "treatment" of sexual orientation.
