In company with Anastasia & Markku, filming the Far North

This movie take us on a journey with Markku and Anastasia, a unique couple: Markku, a Finnish man from the boreal woods who came to be a film-maker and Anastasia, born under a Nenets teepee, who used to be a journalist for a Russian radio and now sings the tragic legend of her people, the Nenets.
For thirty years, these film-makers have been telling the story and the life of the arctic people of Siberia, Greenland, Northern Canada and Scandinavia. Two souls allied together for a cinema of resistance, haunted by the inspiration of ancient myths and the fragile survival of the cultures of the Far North.
