Mark Hall is a photographer and experimental filmmaker who lives in Melbourne, Australia. His ongoing research endeavours to produce photography and experimental cinema that evokes in the viewer a sense of wonder and mystery.
Inspired by Ezra Pound’s 1913 poem: 'In a Station of the Metro'. This experimental film relates to the emotional and sensory response we have to the contemporary world, which is being transformed by the powerful forces of capitalism, globalisation, and the explosion of new information technologies. We are living through a major period of historical transition, a new era of rapid change; one characterised by constant dynamism.
