In The Lease
What if behind every corner you turn, there every time you shut your eyes before bed, always just outside of your view, someone was there? In The Attic is an experimental horror short film in the vein of Insidious. It focuses on The Father who lives in the attic, and all of his daughters who roam the halls. As the young college-aged roommates sleep, demons have fun and reclaim their right to walk around freely. Problems occur when, as part of their lease, they are allowed for one night to eat the roommates. This is a victory for the antagonists of this film but leaves a bad taste in the audience's mouth. There's a unique approach to conveying a commentary on the circumstantial and inconsiderate treatment of the lower to middle-class residents in the modern world by showing you what happens behind the scenes of your living situation. Audiences will love scenes such as the roommates waking up in the morning and seeing the demon daughters scurry into their hiding places at the last possible second.
