In Search of Lost Time

Through the images of changing social and political landscape of India, while also grappling with the nightmarish reality that engulfed the country and my family during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

Director Statement

I always take very keen interest to my surroundings, the street I have lived in, what seem the monotonous and mundane life it attracts me the most. I am more interested in exploring the identity of the individual and the identity of the community I belong. Through the memories and stories of the past, one can make sense of the present. The present which now feels more chaotic and uncertain. But when we delve inside our past, through the fragments of it, we realize throughout the time we, humans were always amid the 'chaos'.
