In My Lane was an opportunity for me to provide an insight into the world of an elite athlete regardless of being able bodied or not. While from a far Tim may appear like someone who would have to live a life dealing with the ups and downs of having a disability, he reveals that not only has he overcome his disability but he has turned it into a positive; thriving on the challenge of thinking outside the box – becoming a Commonwealth Silver Medallist while studying Engineering at University.
Tim is the walking ethos of Focus on Ability and I hope it inspires other young people to work through their own struggles in life, to overcome and achieve their own dreams.
