In Fantasy I will be bathed in Tears
The title of the film (“In Fantasy I will be bathed in Tears”) is a line from Pushkin. This is the story of actor Yuri Tsivtsivadze, who began his career in the seventies in the Soviet Union. He was Georgian by birth, but performed leading roles in the Jewish Chamber Musical Theater and sang in Yiddish. His roles include Jesus Christ in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1992, while touring Canada, he became seriously ill. And at one moment he lost everything - his voice, his profession, his family, his country. He almost died, but miraculously came back to life. He lost everything, but maintained faith in himself and the people around him.
