Director Statement

One of my favorite things about short format storytelling is the power of seeing "right now." We all have a past - a story that might be told about what happened to get us to where we are today. And there will most definitely be some story after. From the script to the framing of each shot, "In Between" allows us to see one moment, and one decision. Hopefully it will also provide viewers enough of a glimpse of our character to know that there was a past that got them here, and a future to be written. We see a sliver of time in the life of a character that makes us question what we would do were the same situation to happen to us, perhaps even just a little later today.
