Director Biography - José Betancourt Soler

The director José Betancourt, a graduate of Cinema & television from the CENTRO university, began his career in 2018 in the digital content department at Habitant Productions (2018-2023) where he is also in charge of the production area for the most important airline in the world. country, Aeromexico.

At 27, his short film, "La Espera" was an official selection at the Festival Metropolitano de Cineminuto, Mexico City, 2017 and Finalist at the Transparent Film Festival, New York, 2019.

Multidisciplinary and with great sensitivity in aesthetics, during the pandemic, he wins a private fund to make his documentary, "Aquí Estoy", which recounts the life of Juventud Guerrera, the only Mexican champion in the international wrestling company, WWE, currently en route to festivals
