Iran, with its rich tapestry of cultures, has steadfastly celebrated its customs and dances, even amidst the constraints and challenges of recent decades.

Director Biography - Alireza Kavianrad

Alireza Kavianrad is a versatile artist and filmmaker known for his diverse talents. His creative pursuits span documentary filmmaking, animation, cartooning, graphic design, book illustration, and art consulting. As a university professor, he imparts his expertise to the next generation of artists and creators.

Over the past three decades, Kavianrad has left an indelible mark on Iran's cultural heritage. His extensive body of work includes producing over two thousand minutes of animation, which serves as a testament to the country's rich artistic legacy. Additionally, he has embarked on documentary projects, delving into native culture and environmental themes across various regions of Iran during his extensive travels.

Kavianrad's educational journey began in 1987 when he initially studied painting. After a year, he shifted his focus to graphics and obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Arts. Later, he pursued a Master's degree in Animation at Art University in 1995.

For the past 30 years, I've been on an exciting journey in the animation world, working as a filmmaker and graphic designer. I love telling stories, and my strength lies in paying close attention to details, making sure every project is visually captivating. I believe in creating stories that are both simple and complex, striking a balance that resonates with audiences. I'm disciplined and committed to delivering high-quality work on time. Always up for a new challenge, I enjoy trying out different things to keep my creativity flowing.
