I’m DIALYSIS
In 2015 more than 2 million people were living on dialysis worldwide.
In Togo, it is estimated that 700,000 people may be prone to kidney disease and about 7,000 may need dialysis.
Currently in Togo, chronic hemodialysis allows an average of 150 people to continue living. However, it is a mystery to the rest of the population.
5 hemodialysis patients or relatives of patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing or having undergone dialysis testify to demystify this life-extending treatment.
