ILLUMINATE is the world's premier film festival for conscious cinema. Dedicated to expanding human consciousness through film, ILLUMINATE is a landmark destination event and global hub for spreading enlightened ideas. Founded on the premise that the language of film is universal and a dynamic force in carrying messages to the masses, the Festival showcases the best of transformational media to uplift, inspire, and transform. Rules & Terms

All Submissions:
- Films must feature mind-body-spirit-focused stories or themes (e.g. consciousness, wellness, self- discovery/human journey, mind-body science, spirituality, yoga, meditation, organic and plant-based nutrition or sustainable living)
- Completion date of film must be January 1, 2017 or later.
- Entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, royalties, release forms, clearances, permits necessary to present their work. ILLUMINATE Film Festival is not responsible for any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, or royalty infringement related to the work.
- One film per entry fee. Sorry, no entry fee waivers. Entry fees are non-refundable.
- Entrants give permission to ILLUMINATE Film Festival to use stills, titles, copy, and/or information from the submission for promotional purposes.
- Films submitted must be available in English or in the original language with legible English subtitles.
- Initial submissions may be submitted as online digital links, DVD, or Blu-ray. Digital submissions are preferred.
- Exhibition format must be DCP or Blu-ray.
- Exhibition print supplier will be responsible for the cost of shipment to ILLUMINATE. ILLUMINATE will return the print postage prepaid to the supplier or to the next destination as indicated by the supplier (Features only) . Entry materials and/or Short films will not be returned.
- The Festival is not responsible for damage to or loss of submitted materials incurred by shipping to or from the Festival.

Competition Features:
- Must be 50 minutes or longer in total runtime
- Must be a World, International or US Premiere at IFF 2018
- Must not have been or be scheduled for public consumption through any form of public broadcast (including internet) or commercial theatrical engagement in the US prior to June 1, 2018

Non-Competition features:
- Must be 50 minutes or longer in total runtime
- Preference will be given to World, International and U.S. premieres, but must be at minimum a Sedona Premiere at IFF 2018
- Must not have been or be scheduled for public consumption through commercial theatrical engagement in the US prior to June 1, 2018
- Preference will be given to films that have NOT been available to the public through public broadcast, internet or DVD.
- Film’s world premiere must have occurred after January 1, 2017 (except Retrospective submissions)

Shorts:
- Must be no longer than 40 minutes in total runtime
- Must be at minimum a Sedona Premiere at IFF 2018
- Preference will be given to films that have NOT been available to the public through public broadcast, internet or DVD.
