I'm a writer/director from Venezuela currently living in Miami, FL.
My passion for film led me to pursue an M.F.A. in Film at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
As a filmmaker, I'm passionate about creating stories that entertain, inspire, and evoke wonder.
“I’ll Be in the Sun” is the culmination of years wanting to visually explore the many stories my father shared about his adventures in the late '70s and early '80s.
This film dramatizes my favorite of those stories while also capturing the wholesomeness of the time we shared chatting and reminiscing. It’s also a tribute to the love for music he instilled in me from a young age.
Through fiction, I sought to immortalize those moments, creating characters who have, in a strange way, become dear friends to me.
I hope this story transports you to a warm and loving place, just as my father’s stories did for me.
