Born in 2007 in Athens, Ilias Mathioudakis started experimenting with moving images at the age of 7, when he made his first short film.
Since then, he has made 8 more short films. His latest one, Board Gap (2021), was selected to 4 international film festivals in Europe and the USA and won the Special Nikos Kavoukidis Award at the 21st Camera Zizanio (Purgos, Greece). He is also following classical piano studies and has experimented with photography and theater. He is interested in philosophy, art, politics, music, and literature.
