Ilaria Malvezzi is an Italian actor based in New York. She has a background as contemporary dancer. Her passion for movement and its physical expression inspired her to study and dance with internationally acclaimed master teachers and choreographers, among which Mauro Astolfi, Loris Petrillo and particularly influential Choreographer/Dramaturge and lifelong friend Loredana Parrella.
Ilaria moved to New York in 2005 where she continued her artistic pursuit and started to study acting and perform with Thomas G. Waites at TGW Actors Studio ("As You Like It", "The Taming of the Shrew").
In 2016 she graduated from the two years conservatory program at Esper Studio where she studied with Suzanne Esper.
She is particularly interested in directing her career in Film, TV and Voice Over, although always open to her first love, Theater and Physical Theater.
Most of her work comes form the close collaboration and partnership with Director/Writer Jeremiah Kipp ("Crave", "Baggage", "Mastermind", "Break Open The Head"). In 2017 she wrote and produced two short films "Unvoiced" Directed by Jeremiah Kipp and "Open" Directed by DT Sheridan. Ilaria is currently free lancing with the talent manager agency The Talent Express.
