In a world where fear (darkness) is fed to us constantly, we must find the light (love) within us. We must surrender to life completely in order to truly live it. The ‘good’ and the ‘bad’ deep down are all one, because from the darkness comes light and from pain one finds the divine.

Idsonil Alvarez is a Puerto Rican and Dominican Film Director, Actor, and Writer. She began her film career in 2017 at age 17 when she could afford her very first camera. She dedicates her career to advocating for mental health, social issues, and the stories left unsaid through her films and scripts. Idsonil likes to bring these stories to life through subjective, spiritual, and surreal points of view.
The reason I made this documentary was to inspire people to go out there and create without fear of being authentic. Trends limit and box us in, and instead of getting inspired by what others are doing, ask yourself what you want to do and pursue it.
