Eymeraude Cordon Le Beurier (1989, France) has been making video art and photography since the age of 16. She achieved two Bachelor’s degrees, in Arts and in Cinema, at the University of Provence. Then she graduated from a Master's degree at the Art School of Marseille. She lived in Chile for 6 years and the country’s sociopolitical situation inspired her first short film "I dreamed I was alive" she co-wrote, directed and edited with an all-chilean team. It is a fiction based on a true story, for which she investigated a lot and developed a close relationship with the family of the young girl that inspired the character of Alexandra.
We look to create an atmosphere impregnated with disillusionment to portray postpartum depression through the inner change of a sensitive teenager, where the imposed - but also self-inflicted – resignation reflects the inability to see beyond and move forward.
