Director Statement

Idiot-Proof is a fast-paced heist film, full of laughs, encapsulating all that is great about homegrown Aussie filmmaking. This film was made with love, born from the desire to make film-making more accessible and story-telling more fun. By using a smartphone, we sought to create a short film that genuinely reflected the capabilities of emerging artists just trying to make films with friends, and feel that that style lends itself to the final products charm.
