I am sorry
Life is tricky sometimes... Well, most of the time.
You might think at times that you’re not able to live and get more from life or that you
already got everything and there’s nothing else for you out there. But let me tell you
this. There’s always more.
Do you ever think about the child you were in times? Do you ever wish you could go
back in time and be that child again? And do you ever ask why?
Why did you treat that child the way you did? Why didn’t you protect her? Why did
you let her be so scared sometimes? Do you actually think she didn’t deserve better
than what you gave her? I do... and I know I should’ve let you know, little Sophia, that
you are strong enough, that you are always worth it.
And for that... I am Sorry.

Biography: Iraia Nulo is filmmaker based in between Spain and the North East of England. She is
a film production student at the University of Sunderland. Iraia has been involved mainly in
university projects and her own films all of these being short films. Her specialties are writing,
directing and producing but she has also get involved in the sound department.
This is an important film for us because it takes you through the life experience of someone
who has lived enough to give her point of view about life. I always say that you will never know
if you have been completely happy until the day of your death, and this is what the film
transmitted to me when Susana sent me the script. It was impressive how Susana and I were
connected in terms of agreeing with each other all the time and even having the exact same
thoughts during the pre-production.
