I look at Shokouh
This documentary is the story of a 93-year old elderly who wrote romantic letters every single night to his spouse and posted them to her, 70 years ago when he was a University student away from her in the USA. Once he graduated and travelled back to her in Iran, they just got married but noticed that she was infertile. This made Shokouh ask for divorce. However, they decided to travel to the USA looking for a remedy as insisted by Akbar. Nevertheless, the doctors disappointed them with having a baby. Therefore, they decided to stay to continue their education in the USA. After years of consistent attempts within scientific researches, after 50 years, eventually they came back to Iran. They devoted all their assets and properties to be spent on promoting the health and wellbeing of their countrymen (i.e. to establish an infertility treatment center, to set up a cancer treatment center, to build a faculty of nursery, to construct clinics and the list goes on).
Ultimately, Shokooh died due to a sickness in 2020 but even the death failed to separate Akbar from her. Akbar continued living day in, day out with her memories. The daily routine of 93-year old Malekpoor, now, was being flourished by reviewing the old images all taken by him over 75 years of mutual life, and the letters written by him 70 years ago to Shokooh, and looking at the pen-drawn portrait of Shokooh, which was drawn by him when he was away from her studying in the USA, being renewed by drawing another new portrait of Shokooh by him, setting up different memorial ceremonies to celebrate Shokooh's birthday, their wedding anniversary, and other sweet excuses and memories.
