IWeirDo

Po-Ching is an OCD patient, with serious symptoms of mysophobia. His “quirkiness” has isolated him. It is until he meets a weird girl Chen Ching, that his dull life begins to change. But one morning, Po-Ching wakes up and learns that he has become “normal”. The perfect love of two weirdos is no longer a positive made by two negatives.

Director Statement

I have been working as an executive director, like a baby-sitter. IweirDO is my first production that I created from scratch. I want to bring a new visual language depicting the commitment and paranoid of love. When love strikes, good or bad, everything seems so wonderful. But, what if through the test of time and companionship, such glamour is not as bright and colorful as it used to be? Filming with an iPhone is a project I have long been thinking about. Finally, I get to make it and surpass my expectations. I hope everyone get to see the result.
