Director Statement

This film is a voice for those that are subject to power abuse.

The original idea was to tell the true story of a male model in an abusive situation at the hands of his booker. It was always important for us to not make this graphic, or vulgar, and focus on the power dynamic and put the viewer in the character's shoes. People can be quick to diminish the impact of power abuse on the victims. By showing the part of the story usually unseen, we think it gives a different perspective for the viewer to empathise.

The original vision was to focus on representing male models in the fashion industry, as that's where the story originates, however as the project developed it was always going to become bigger than that industry alone. And thankfully it has; it represents all artists and people that have their hopes, dreams, wants or needs leveraged against them.

It was a phenomenal project to be a part of. The success of the project is down to the mind blowing team effort.
