I Tried
”I Tried” tells a story of a lady named Rose who is currently at her breaking point. She battles with having to take care of her brothers’ son and carrying so much responsibility for him after the passing of both her parents. Rose and her brother Michael had a heated argument regarding the plans for Michael’s son which left her completely devasted. Rose’s close friend Agatha comes to visit her and is shocked to find Rose in a bad state.

Jamel Kennedy is a British Director and producer From South East London, Peckham.
He holds a deep passion for Film. He is constantly studying his major influncers such as; Speileberg, Carpenter, Craven(to name a few) and he tries to find his own unique way of telling a story through the lens and creating high quality productions.
Jamel also uses Jamaican, Ghanian and Nigerian heritage to influence his modern take on his projects thus far. His first short film Redundants (2015) about a couple living together who experience the consequences of letting secrets linger, was then followed by Suicide pool (2015)
base on an Epping forest tale. Jamel then branched out to Music Video projects as well as documentaries and a TV.
