Writer Statement

I wrote this screenplay as a way to illustrate guilt, mental health, and recovery in a slightly more "supernatural" focused sense. I have struggled with mental health issues since I was young, and have felt that illustrating that through creative works truly have helped me to grow and express myself. I also enjoy illustrating these issues in new ways that may be more "interesting" for wider audiences. Working on this piece was another way of doing this, and I really am happy with how it turned out.
