Imagined
Loner Liam Harris lives a predictable life, which he intends to leave behind for his childhood happy place: Canada. At least, until Kal appears. She claims to be his Incorporeal Children’s Guide (ICG for short), tasked to help him recover from being an adult “failure.” What Kal doesn’t tell him is that she’s not that good at being an ICG - she’s made a bet with her boss to “fix” Liam in order to keep her job. To make matters worse, Liam’s ex-wife suddenly drops off his three kids with him for the long weekend, right before he’s due to move. Liam finds himself surrounded by three people (and one imaginary person) who are entirely too loud, entirely too unorganized, and entirely too young. Add in his crush on his nextdoor neighbor Jordan, and Liam has a mess on his hands. Still suspicious of whether his imaginary friend is a hallucination, Liam begrudgingly teams up with Kal to navigate the stormy waters of his estranged family. Innovative and whimsical, Imagined leads audiences on a fun, heartwarming adventure sure to entertain the whole family.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Tori has traveled across the country and even across the world to work as a writer, director, and script supervisor. In her short but blossoming career, she has helped create dozens of feature films, short films, and television shows to date. She finds the process of creating truthful emotional moments fascinating, and strives to be a continual student, not only of filmmaking but of life.
Sometimes you start just because you need to start. This was the case with Imagined: I felt the pull, the need to make an inaugural feature film. One of my friends had an amazing idea for a feature that I had heard about a year before. I asked her if I could make her story, and we were off to the races. As I took the story to further drafts, the story built to be bigger than just the need to create a project - it needed to be told. We filmed Imagined during some of the first waves of Covid, which was a new experience for all of us. While our crew was generally younger and healthy, our cast contained a wide range of age groups. Luckily, I am proud to say that no one got even so much as a cold on set. Like both Kal and Liam, I had to face many fears to see this movie made. But facing fears brings growth, and I hope that our audiences experience a bit of that growth at the same that they are entertained by the mishaps and mayhem on screen.
