The Invisible

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Europe in February 2020, I have been collecting short testimonies from people between 7 and 100 years old, both men and women from all walks of life. I leave two minutes for each of them to answer two questions:

1. Is the world limited only to the material reality perceptible by our senses? In other words, is there another reality that escapes our minds? In other words, is the world a mystery to you?

2. What is there after death?

Respondents answer with lucidity, despair, or naivety, and they often impress with a surprisingly profound reasoning about their lives, regardless of their age.
The aim is to collect about a hundred testimonies, and then to extract about twenty. Put together, these testimonies will constitute a composition that will be much more than a simple addition of small speeches.
Gathered on the assembly table in a thoughtful order, they should generate an additional meaning that will teach us - at least I hope so - something about our world today.
