Giuliano Radici was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1957.
At one time he called himself a photographer, today he feels like a “storyteller”. Through photography and editing he gives voice to his experiences, creating intense and creative visual journeys. He has worked in fashion and advertising as well as on indisputably expressive and powerful photojournalism projects.
Multiple portfolios published in magazines like “Zoom International”, “Gente di Fotografia”, and “ Private”, as well as shoots for various fashion magazines, have made him known to the general public .
He has published photography books that have been met with international acclaim: “Parigi” in 1997, “A Remya mia figlia Indiana dell’India” in 1998, “Cambodia” in 2002, “Che il passo lento dell’elefante ti porti lontano” in 2005, “Simple Objects” in 2007, “Pakistan” in January of 2008, and “Patria e onore”, a book on Amerigo Vespucci published for the Italian Navy in 2011.
In 2009 his artistic and human journey came together in 7milamiglialontano, a non-profit association which he conceived and of which he is the president. Here his art is expressed through travel and through solidarity-based objectives. Books published: “Religion” in 2009 “Est, Est, Est” in 2012, “Around the World” in 2015, “Ritorno al Centro” in 2017, and “5.1 H2oPlanet Europa” in 2019.
His photographs are part of various public and private collections, including those of MAM (Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro) and the “Fotokunst” Museum in Denmark.
Roberto Radici was born in 1962 and attended the Caravaggio Art School and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. His understanding that art is an integral and fundamental component of his life has fuelled his constant study of and experimentation with artistic expression.
In particular, he has studied the fresco technique, drawing on the work of past masters in order to develop his own personal and powerful style. His work is present around the world and in many different contexts, including the Nagoya Dome in Japan, the Presidential Palace in Ankara, and various Dolce & Gabbana showrooms throughout Europe.
His contemporary art installations have attracted the attention of gallery owners and museums, leading to exhibits of his work in prestigious contexts both at home and abroad: the Multimedia Gallery in Brescia, the Spazio Bal Gallery in Milan, Palazzo Benamati in Maderno (BS), the Im Kurhaus Gallery in Germany, the Einzigart Gallery in New York, and Loggia Alexandra in Berlin.
