INSIDE [COVID-19 PERIOD]

ENGLISH VERSION

My short film, "INSIDE", represents my inside and outside at the time of COVID 19. It is a project made while I was in high school and I really believe that this is the work that I have most dear to my heart in recent times. Because as I have always reiterated, it not only represents what I felt during the lockdown period, but it is also feelings of the past that have marked my life.
After all, almost all of us have lived through dark times in our lives and doing this work has freed me, once again, to express myself as I see fit.

The time of Dechirico and Dalì, the inside and the outside of Hopper and Nem0's, are points of inspiration of my project that led me to tell what I feel in this period of quarantine that for many has turned their lives upside down. It is my anxieties and fears that have accompanied me for years and only in the last few times I found a sense of peace and tranquility. I tried to focus my video on: common objects, colors, sounds and about time. In fact, at the beginning of the video you can see some threads, intertwined with each other, representing my thoughts. It is a personal journey, where I try to "untie" from my anxieties and worries. Following are noted shadows, due to the window shutter, a typical image of everyday life that it represents the moment after the "liberation". The road I travel is represented
through the shot of a wall. The movement of the shot indicates that the personal path it is made up of ups and downs.
Finally, you come to the door opening. This means I'm ready to go through that threshold, face the world and also my worries.
The recovery of daisies and various plants indicates a sense of inner peace. The black color at the beginning of the video indicates my "dark" period. In the video there are sounds of various types such as: sighs of a person, one laughter, sounds of nature and the slow rebound of a string to show that time passes slowly. Everything is accompanied by a music that creates tension towards the beginning and towards
the end a sense of peace.

Il mio cortometraggio, "INSIDE", rappresenta il mio dentro e fuori al tempo del COVID 19. È un progetto realizzato mentre frequentavo il liceo e credo proprio che questo sia il lavoro che ho più a cuore in questi ultimi tempi. Perché come ho sempre ribadito, non rappresenta solo ciò che ho provato nel periodo del lockdown, ma sono anche sentimenti del passato che hanno segnato la mia vita.
Dopotutto, quasi tutti abbiamo vissuto periodi bui nella nostra vita e realizzare questo lavoro mi ha reso libera, per ancora una volta, di esprimermi come meglio credo.

Il tempo Di Dechirico e di Dalì, il dentro e il fuori di Hopper e Nem0's, sono punti di ispirazione del mio progetto che mi hanno portato a raccontare ciò che io provo in questo
periodo di quarantena che per molti ha messo sottosopra la propria vita. Sono le mie ansie e le mie paure che mi hanno accompagnato per anni e solo negli ultimi tempi ho trovato senso di pace e tranquillità. Ho cercato di concentrare il mio video su: oggetti comuni, colori, suoni e sul tempo. Infatti all'inizio del video si notano dei fili, intrecciati fra loro, che rappresentano i miei pensieri. Si tratta di un percorso personale,
dove io cerco di “slegarmi” dalle mie ansie e preoccupazioni. A seguire si notano delle ombre, dovute dalla tapparella della finestra, un immagine tipica di vita quotidiana che rappresenta il momento dopo la “liberazione”. La strada che percorro viene rappresentata attraverso la ripresa di un muro. Il movimento della ripresa indica che il percorso personale è formato di alti e bassi. Infine, si arriva verso l'apertura della porta. Ciò significa che sono pronta a varcare quella soglia, affrontare il mondo e anche le mie preoccupazioni.
La ripresa di margherite e varie piante, indica un senso di pace interiore. Il colore nero all'inizio del video, indica il mio periodo “buio” e che col passare del tempo si fa a colori. Nel video sono presenti suoni di vario tipo come: sospiri di una persona, una
risata, suoni di natura e il rimbalzo rallentato di una corda per far capire che il tempo passa lentamente. Tutto è accompagnato da una musica che crea verso l'inizio tensione e verso
la fine pace.
