IMPURE

Evy, a 17-year-old boy, is looking for his 19-year-old sister, Lisa, when he discovers her, fainted, sexually abused by a boy in front of two other boys.
Evy succeeds in extracting his sister from this place, but he is now confronted with Lisa's distress and powerful death wish.

Director Biography - Julie Granier

She has directed two narrative shorts including the latter "Impure", as well as a documentary. She also made three other very short and experimental films. Two of her films were broadcast on the french channel "France 3" , others in festival. She has been artistic director and personal advisor to major international directors on numerous advertising campaigns, as well as assistant director and assistant editor. She holds a diploma in production, and a degree in Cinema.

Director Statement

Julie Granier is currently working on his first feature with Philippe Dijan - the author of "Betty Blue", the Oscar nominated film and "Elle", recently made into a film by Paul Verhoeven - to bring his 'coming of age' novel, "Impurity", developed by Nadim Cheikrouha at Tanit Films and her own production company MIU Films.
