Katherine Noble is a director and writer based out of Richmond, Virginia. She is currently a junior at Virginia Commonwealth University, double-majoring in Cinema and English with a minor in Creative Writing. Katherine's work tells simple, beautiful stories with authenticity and empathy, aiming to create joy through that which we share. She is a firm believer in the power of love, and much of her work focuses on women and their complex interpersonal relationships. This is her directorial debut.
As a lesbian and a hopeless romantic, I see a gap in the market for queer films that aren't horribly depressing. As a teenager, if I ever wanted to watch a movie featuring a lesbian relationship, I'd rarely see a happy ending.
My hope with this film is that it will be a piece of joyful, representative media for queer women like me. A sweet reminder that we deserve our silly rom-coms and happy endings just as much as anyone else.
