IHOKAAL (The Present)

"IHOKAAL Synopsis" :- A child grew up thinking if he could outrun the omnipotent dictator the "Time", but he found himself caught by the "Time" itself and finally wanted to escape from the influence of "Time" once he became terminally ill and had a couple of weeks to live. He decided to live and die just for a day on his own way, ignoring the supremacy and influence of "Time" but nothing was in his hands either. Subsequently, he transitions through the unreality and realities of his life once again and finally embraces the consequence set by "Time" in a dramatic way. He came to know that he was nothing but a part of "Time" and his existence was decided by "Time" only. "So there is Time, life and death are possible and everything is an experiential reality for all of us on this planet, nothing else".

Additional Info:- This short film is filmed and made in Sydney involving the local Bengali community living here for decades. This is a sincere attempt to tell a story which is noting but an eternal truth. This project was undertaken with very limited resources in hand since this was our first attempt of visual story telling from overseas. Hope you would like the experience and we will look forward to your valuable feedback.
