Director Statement

I grew up in the Texas Hill Country, where the LBJ Ranch—now a National Park—always held a special place in my heart. While writing the script for this short film, I knew the ranch’s unique charm would provide the perfect backdrop for our characters’ journey. I Guess This Is Goodbye is more than just a breakup story; it’s also a heartfelt love letter to a place that means so much to me.
