Despite the loss of her ability to remember, the grandmother also discovers new connections that show that life still has something to offer, even in its final days. Throughout the documentary, we see how little by little she begins to get to know one of the project directors, a stranger to her at first. Against all odds, a friendship is established between the two, showing that, despite the ravages of memory, it is still possible to learn and connect emotionally with others. This unexpected relationship underlines the human capacity to find new experiences and acceptance, even when it seems that everything learned and experienced begins to fade away.
