For 18 years Kezia’s dad kept the only secret that has kept her alive while he grieves within. On her 18th wish to her mother, Kezia couldn’t hold on to the patterns she began.

Director Biography - Mortinno Morton

Mortinno Morton is a Ghanaian freelance film director, editor, producer, and content developer. He is the founder and CEO of mXquared Studios, a film production company.
Mortinno is a graduate of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) He has worked in the film and television space on documentaries and fiction films such as The Burial of Kojo, EKWA, The Return of Jamal Spirits We Dance, Tinted Chance, Single is Dynamic (SID), GoTv, IFIT-USA, Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), Mfinfini, LA’ANTA, to name a few, these project have been selected and won awards at film festivals worldwide such as Hollywood Venus Awards, Africa Movie Academy Awards, FESPACO, Ghana Movie Awards, Montreal film festival, Accra indie film fest, Australia Inspirational Film Festival, Cannes film festival and many more,
He has and achieved more working experience with potential clients such as GIZ, Tunapanda Institute Kenya, Media General, Learning Lions- Germany/Kenya, Ghana and Ivory Coast Cocoa Board, Pan African savings and loans, Artrat Studio, Nuella tv.USA/Holland, 46 multimedia solution among many others, Mortinno works a lot with stories to entertain, educate and promote social change.

Director Statement

Every mother who doesn't get rid of her child automatically exhibits love, the same way every child would love to experience the love of a parent especially a mother figure. Being a victim of not having the love of a mother growing up and seeing people celebrate their mothers motivated me to uncover the feelings of a lost love of people who wish to have a mother but don't stand the chance and go each day asking questions.

We wish to have the best answers. The truth is, every mother feels the same and both the child and the mother's reasons are right. There is no better answer than knowing you were loved.

I couldn't say it better so I projected it in the film so we can all relate. IF ONLY is somehow my reflection.
