IDK

A young woman Meera finds herself in an unplanned and unforeseen life situation that was camouflaged as love. The fairytale dream has come to an end, and she is left to solely decide whether she should birth that child that was jointly conceived or should she rebirth herself. This is a momentous turning point where she has to make the toughest decision of her life while she is torn amidst the overwhelming emotional breakdown on one hand and the fear of the world stigmatization that may follow on the other. There is no easy decision for her. Her best friend Sara aka her sounding board and her mouthpiece who is totally unaware of the situation is the one she decides to confide in and together they set forth on an unplanned road trip. This journey holds up a mirror of sorts to reflect on Meera's life, it brings alive her own hidden demons unleashing all her deepest fears, and sets forth the pace of her inner healing from traumatic relationships that she has had up to this point with everyone including… herself! What will she decide here on? Who will she choose this time around? Will she be able to overcome her biggest fear? Would she abort the mission or end her life or embark on the inner pilgrimage? What would you do?

My fav genres are all things that are spiritually nourishing, healing, Women oriented subjects, fashion, lifestyle anything except horror, politics, and crime, those are not my type sorry...
I have recently worked on 3 short films, 1 short and 1 feature-length documentary film, 2 web show pilots, 1 musical visual film, and 1 mythological biopic on a massive female figure which are in various stages of completion. I am currently in the final post-production stages of my feature-length documentary and the biopic film which is a proof of concept for a feature that I wish to create someday.

IDK is a special film for me as it touches upon a lesser-spoken and almost yet another taken-for-granted aspect of a woman's life. Like she was entitled to suffer and that is it ok for her to be in such life situations, and because of this belief a lot of women continue to be there and it gets harder for them to rise back up and find their own self again. Sometimes a little self-reflection can help. I feel as humans we all learn best from stories so watching someone else deal with a situation sometimes inspires us or makes us agree/ disagree, and take some stand! That's all that I wish to be a catalyst of and partake of the shared wisdom in the collective.
