Director Biography - Chris Tailor

Chris was born in London in 2003. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, he struggled massively in school, but when his grandfather began to teach him the basics of using cameras and the concept of video, he was hooked, and it set the trend for his life from there on. Over time his passion grew, as he began making short skits on YouTube at age 13, and short films at age 17. He now studies at the MetFilm school in London.

Director Statement

Anyone who’s gone through school life with undiagnosed ADHD will tell you the same thing: the worst thing about being undiagnosed is the constant feeling that you are capable of doing the work you need to do. You do want to do it, you just can’t ever find the motivation to. The feeling that you’re not lazy, but never figuring out why you’re feeling so unmotivated.
Besides wanting to spread awareness and help people understand that sometimes a young person's inability to concentrate is out of their control, my goal with this film is to also take something that a lot of people find irritating and, in essence, find the humour in it: something that has always allowed me to stay positive and improve my techniques when it comes to not only dealing with my ADHD, but a lot of other things in life.
