Bruce L. Nix, Jr. has used his many years in video production, broadcasting, and media experience to produce content for television, digital, and multimedia platforms. He is the founder
and owner of Undercover Entertainment, LLC., which is a video production company located in Birmingham, AL. Bruce wears many hats, serving as producer, writer, cinematographer, and editor; just to name a few, on various projects. Bruce attended Alabama A&M University where he studied and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, with a concentration in video production. It was during his time at A&M Bruce discovered a love for television and film. Prior to starting his production company, Bruce spent almost 12 years as a photojournalist working in News and broadcasting, where he won numerous AP Awards as well as an NABJ Award for Television- Feature: Long Form “Teen Issues”. Bruce is a passionate believer in entrepreneurship, and it was in 2010 he decided to start his own video production company, while still working in broadcasting. Believing in himself and in his
gifts, in 2015 Bruce pursued his passion full time, thus leaving behind the comfort of a steady job and paycheck. Driven for success, he hit the ground running and hasn’t looked back.
Through Undercover Entertainment, Bruce has produced and shot numerous projects and events. Some of his most notable work has been for clients such as My Green Birmingham, The
American Heart Association, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The City of Birmingham, Girls on the Run, Inc., Alabama Power, Wells Fargo, Darkness to Light Films, ESPN's Who's Next HS Series, as well as Yes We Code, which is an organization found by
international recording artist Prince, and headed up by CNN's Van Jones. Bruce also worked on the Bronze Telly Award winning documentary STAND!: Untold Stories From the Civil Rights
Movement, where Bruce served as a producer, Director of Photography, and editor. His work has been featured on BET, PBS and ESPN among many other media outlets. Bruce wakes up every morning with a big smile on his face knowing that he gets the opportunity to do what it is that he is most passionate about, which is telling stories, creating memories, and
bringing visions to life. He ultimately would like to use his gift as a platform, so that he may be able to help others. Through his creativity and desire to be the best at what he does, Bruce hopes
to deliver feature films and original programming for all to enjoy.
