I AM LOLA
Throughout her daily struggle at school, a bright young girl discovers the creative gifts of Dyslexia and realises her flair for dance.
With this film, I strive to erase the negative connotations that are attached to the word dyslexia and change the way people view this learning difficulty. Dyslexia is not a disease to have and be cured of but a way of thinking and learning.

"With this film, I want to erase the negative connotations that are attached to the word dyslexia and change the way people view learning disabilities. I want to shine a light on all the beautiful and positive things that come from learning difficulties. I myself am dyslexic, and even though I viewed it as a burden growing up, I now see it as an advantage, a creative superpower. It allows me to think differently, I have a unique world view that I am able to express in my filmmaking." - Stella Taylor
