I waited
'I waited' is a short dance film portraying the hardships of artists looking to find possibilities in the city for them to grow. Henceforth, it follows the notion of the excruciating 'wait' for opportunities within the art industry, as well as worries of the uncertainty of their future.
The film is directed by choreographer and performer, Emily Robinson, who has created numerous choreographic pieces, with their specialisation in Contemporary dance. Their aim is to explore and expand from socio-political themes and concepts to offer work that initiate conversations and unite individuals on and off-stage.
