Kenneth George is an animator, cameraman, and teacher. From a young age Kenneth has been interested in the visual arts and began entering art competitions at the age of 8. In May 2007, he graduated with a degree in motion design from Western Illinois University and began working freelance in Chicago. Ken took advantage of the many productions being filmed around the windy city and worked as both an actor and motion graphics artist. It was at DePaul University where Ken found his true calling with animation. Ken got his first taste of animation production while studying stop-motion under instructor Lisa Bracy for the film The Neighborhood. In the years following, Ken developed a strong sense for visual storytelling while working as a freelance animator for studios like Big Teeth Productions. While still a graduate student, Ken started his teaching career by instructing motion capture and animation. He has since taught film classes in both the college and high school levels where he treats the classroom like a production setting. In 2011, Ken was motion capture specialist for the animated feature Gnomeo and Juliet. Wherever life takes him, Ken is constantly meeting interesting people from all disciplines that inspire him. He is currently in the post-production stage of his MFA 3d animated short FRONDS, which he hopes to develop into a feature film.
