Huapango
Cecilia is 10 year old girl that lives in the beautiful but isolated Sierra Huasteca in Mexico. In the family kitchen she accidentally discovers her grandfather's violin. She immediately feels the family music heritage running in her veins and decide to play the instrument, but the geographic situation keep her away from schools and teacher so no progression is made. Her grandmother will look for a way to help her, searching for alternatives, even do she don't really understand what she is doing.

Chaz Bernal Valle, Film Director. He has directed commercial pieces, advertising spots, testimonials, music videos, as well as fiction projects such as: Les Félines, Huapango, Isla Calipso, Flores del Corazón, Si Me Amas, Aplícale La Llave, La Aventura de los Amigos del Agua, and co-directed Don't Wasty. He has also worked on several documentaries: Las Voces de La Antigua, El Kilómetro Más Difícil, and Migración en La Solana San Juan.
He has participated as a producer in fiction projects like S.A.I.A., El Sonido del Viento, and El Contrato; as well as various advertising pieces. He has collaborated as a cinematographer in the short films La Historia de Santiago and El Último Viaje, as well as the documentary Todo El Mundo Tiene Una Caja.
His work has received several awards and nominations at different festivals in Mexico, such as Pantalla de Cristal, EcoFilm Festival, Smartfilms México, I Lab Films, 48h Film Project México, Premio Alejandría, Retrospectivas, Festival del Cine REQ, and Doqumenta; as well as in other countries like: San Francisco Film Festival, Midwestern Si-Fi Festival, Premios Latino España, and Lift Off Global.”
