How much do you want to win? - The journey of Ferry Svan
Coming from a family of successful skiers - his Dad won 4 Olympic Gold Medals - we showcase all sacrifices the son of Gunde Svan has to bring, giving it the best to become a professional athlete in an unusual sport. Choosing professional wood chopping - which was almost not existing as a sport in Sweden - over skiing, he had to overcome doubts and difficulties to even get started. At the age of only 25 years we follow Ferry turning from a nobody from Sweden to a constant contender to the podium on the biggest international events in professional wood chopping.

Driven by the outdoors and the unseen, with a focus on action sports Lukas received recognition for a number of his early works. He has studied digital filmmaking and VFX at a film school in Munich, Germany what supported him in his dynamic way of storytelling. Lukas continued to develop his style, crafting highly dynamic and emotive imagery. Lukas’ attention to detail and relentless drive to produce emotional films capturing authentic human moments and carefully blending them with atmosphere to create powerful emotive stories is at the centre of Lukas’ works. Nevertheless his background as a self taught filmmaker & photographer allows him to take a hands on approach to directing, and affords him the skills to work in a wide range of environments.
The amount of dedication and work the athletes in this unusual sport have for the one thing they love is absolutely stunning. As there is not much money to make in this sport, it makes their efforts even more worth to be shown and the stories to be told.
