Alaya Foote is currently a High School student aspiring to become a Film Director and Cinematographer. She started making films since the young age of 8 and never got bored since.
Growing up we romanticize our communities. We recognize the go-to houses on Halloween, the friend groups we assemble, or the small gigs we may come across, but those characters abstain from seeing the depth in perspectives that reside within. Howell Station is a love letter to my childhood neighborhood that explores the miscellaneous personalities of those in our surroundings that we overlook so often, and it determines the true romanticism of those close to us.
My films are aimed to ignite a feeling or memory of timelessness where everything is balanced. In those moments we can seek to achieve more meaning to life.
