How To Be A Human Being
During a conference in a hotel, a woman in her mid-thirties meets a man that she used to date in her teenage years. She accuses him of ‘date-rape’ back then. She works at the conference and has to help him prepare for the presentation. They start to talk. It turns out that things were different than she thought for many years.

The subject of this film is emotionally close to me, as never before in my work. For a long time, I kept to the 'victim-blamer' narrative when writing the script, but in the process of rewriting the script, I suddenly discovered how I could approach the painful topic of #MeToo in a new, bold and authentic way, but still remaining just as sensitive about it.
When the characters start talking, they realise that they are not sure if it happened after all. Where is the line when you can blame someone and when you can't? Where is #MeToo, where is it not? These questions are also raised in How To Be A Human Being. Two people have had a very painful encounter because they didn't know to communicate about sex.
