Experiencing Interruptions?

How Much Do You Want To Know?

Maulik, a former MMA fighter, has been plagued by strange recurring dreams for almost ten years, affecting his physical and mental well-being and costing him his marriage to his wife, Navya.

In despair and at the crossroads of his life and career, Maulik seeks help from an unconventional therapist, Dhanashri, to find an explanation for these dreams. When Dhanashri connects his dreams to memories from a traumatic past life he had lived, Maulik sets out on a journey of self-discovery to reconnect the pieces of his fragmented soul.

Director Biography - Tomas Decurgez

Tomás Decurgez is an Argentinian-American writer and director born and raised in Buenos Aires. After acting in Argentina for some Academy Award-winning directors (Roland Joffé 'There Be Dragons and Shekhar Kapur's 'Passage'), he moved to Los Angeles in 2013.

In those years when Hollywood wasn't as diverse and inclusive as today - as an actor, he was asked to get rid of his accent, and now he is asked to keep it. Convinced that the world should see fewer stereotyped characters, he became a full-time storyteller. His first screenplay got attention from some producers, got great feedback from screenwriting festivals, and his first TV pilot, "Nada Que Ver" (Nothin' To See Here), won several awards on the festival circuit. Several of his screenplays (both for film and TV) are currently under consideration by executives at Pantaya, ViX (U.S.), and Netflix Mexico.

Director Statement

‘How Much Do You Want To Know’ was an extremely enlightening project for me. I tend to be skeptical sometimes, even cynical, maybe because I’m Latin American, and we are taught not to trust.

After meeting the co-creators of this project, all the producers involved were very spiritual, and I allowed myself to question to keep my mind open. I was curious, and I researched and listened to their stories and wondered, what if our dreams were not random thoughts?

Sometimes we see things and people in our dreams that are not in our physical reality, and they seem illogical and bizarre. Is it possible that we might be dreaming of our past lives?

The story is based on the actual life teachings of Tarini Kapur. She has worked very successfully with a large number of people, helping them to think differently, spiritually sometimes, about issues that might not seem to be based in that realm of their lives.

We are developing this short/pilot into an episodic series over three seasons.
