Horizon Screenplay

Lily Lane, a loving but overwhelmed mother, struggles with postpartum depression that spirals into full-blown psychosis. Haunted by guilt, self-doubt, and an escalating sense of detachment from reality, she becomes consumed by the belief that she is failing her newborn daughter, Ruby. As her mental state deteriorates, Lily’s fears manifest into disturbing visions and encounters, culminating in a heartbreaking tragedy when her psychosis drives her to take Ruby’s life. Years later, as Lily reflects on her actions and strives to heal, she confronts the fragile intersection of love, loss, and redemption—finding peace where the known and the unknown converge: the horizon.
